Bharatanatyam
The origin of Bharatanatyam dance style is from the Tamil Nadu. This dance is performed by the female dancers as a group or as a solo in an exclusive format for expressing the religious themes and spiritual ideas. The main part of Bharatanatyam style is movements of knees, legs, fingers, foot. Various dramas are performed in the group from this dancing style. In Bharatanatyam, the term Nritta means pure dance, Nritya means expressing solo dance and Natya means a group expressing the dramatic dance.
