Kathakali is the form of classical dance which is mostly performed in the South-west region of India. The main element of this kind of dance is the make-up, masks, outfits worn by the classical dancers which are mostly performed by males. It is a very different form of dancing style which is basically used to express the ideas, stories written by the authors even from the other countries. Kathakali is counted as the folk dance style performed in the Malayalam language. The primary focus of this type of dancing style is the facial expressions which also includes the love, anger, fear, power and hand movements/gestures. Nowadays, female dancers also participate in such kind of dancing style.
